Ambrosia was discovered as a chance seedling in the early 1990s on a small orchard in Cawston, British Columbia.

Truly a gift from mother nature, Ambrosia apples became popular with the locals and began to thrive in its natural climate.

In 1993 it became a registered variety and this “food of the gods” was available for all to enjoy.

Today, BC Tree Fruits’ growers nurture Ambrosia apples right where the natural phenomenon began, creating the finest eating experience.
