- 6 cups Ambrosia Apples
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Minute Tapioca
- 1 Tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
In a large saucepan, combine apples, sugar, tapioca and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil hard for 1 minute. Add cinnamon and boil for one additional minute. Cool.
Put in containers and freeze.
To use: Thaw and put into pie or tart shells or crisps. Bake at 350° F until done or per recipe instructions.
Tip: Ambrosia is a sweet apple so you may want to use less sugar, go ahead an experiment to your tastes!
